I get this newsletter because I really appreciate Jessica Goudeau's books and justice is very close to my heart. So I was thrilled to open this today and see myself in your random news photo! That first one with the Starlink in Ukraine, I'm the one in the brown coat with flag ribbons! Anyway, that has nothing to do with anything, but thank you for a fun surprise and for throwing me right back to those first few amazing days after liberation from russian occupation.

Called my reps as well, and made it really clear this has nothing to do with party, but the constitution. Thank you for the script!

Here's the most recent release of DOGE findings from USAID-

YOU PAID FOR IT... BUT NOT ANYMORE! Breaking This Morning, the White House releases more projects that you paid for with USAID, the wasteful unaccountable government agency that has been dismantled by DOGE and Elon Musk! Here is a look at where your tax dollars went (including terror groups!): I hope you're proud! ⤵️

— $7.9 million to teach Sri Lankan journalists how to avoid “binary-gendered language”

— $20 million for a new Sesame Street show in Iraq

— $4.5+ million to “combat disinformation” in Kazakhstan

— $1.5 million for “art for inclusion of people with disabilities”

— $2 million for sex changes and “LGBT activism” in Guatemala

— $6 million to “transform digital spaces to reflect feminist democratic principles”

— $2.1 million to help the BBC “value the diversity of Libyan society”

— $10 million worth of USAID-funded meals, which went to an al Qaeda-linked terrorgroup

— $25 million for Deloitte to promote “green transportation” in the country of Georgia

— $2.5 million to promote “inclusion” in Vietnam

— $16.8 million for a SEPARATE “inclusion” group in Vietnam

— ~$5 million to EcoHealth Alliance, one of the key NGOs funding bat virus research at the Wuhan lab

— $20 million for a group related to a key player in the Russiagate impeachment hoax

— $1.1 million to an Armenian “LGBT group”

— $1.2 million to help the African Methodist Episcopal Church Service and Development Agency in Washington, D.C., build “a state-of-the-art 440 seat auditorium”

— $1.5 million to promote “LGBT advocacy” in Jamaica

— $2 million to promote “LGBT equality through entrepreneurship” in Latin America

— $500K to solve sectarian violence in Israel (just ten days before the Hamas October 7 attack)

— $2.3 million for “artisanal and small scale gold mining” in the Amazon

— $3.9 million for “LGBT causes” in the western Balkans

— $5.5 million for LGBT activism in Uganda

— $6 million for advancing LGBT issues in “priority countries around the world”

— $6.3 million for men who have s*x with men in South Africa

— $8.3 million for “USAID Education: Equity and Inclusion”

For decades, USAID bureaucrats believed they were accountable to no one — but that era is over. President Trump is STOPPING the waste, fraud, and abuse.

Hi Nurse Judy - this is interesting and very specific information. I’d love to do my own research. Could you please share your sources? Thank you!

I read this article, in its entirety. Musk offering his starling to BOTH sides...shows clearly no favor towards either, just offering access to internet. When he knew there would be deadly consequences if he advanced his internet for Ukraine, he chose NOT to. You see something wrong with this action? He saved lives. He also was the only one going into North Carolina in the devastation, pushing in as far as he could to offer aid, internet so people could contact loved ones etc. Until FEMA told him he couldn't land helicopters any further without prior approval. I'll make sure and call my reps everyday, and Give my favor for keeping this Audit going and calling out the corruption that yes, is even at the Congressional level. I do not know what the end result will be..but Musk is not in this for money. Expose the corruption. Reform takes radical action and Radical Transparency. I'm for Musk staying , getting his hands dirty, and uncovering our govts dirty secrets. With all due respect, I wholeheartedly disagree with your opinion on this matter.

It’s sad this article doesn’t recognize Musks intentions for what they really are. We can’t characterize Musks donation of over 100M in Starlink satellites in Ukraine as a kind gesture? The author faults him not feeling comfortable expanding its capabilities to promote more war. No, it was a humanitarian gesture. He should be thanked and lauded for his kindness and his ability recognize he had the unique ability to act and correct a basic necessity of life, taken away from the Ukrainians by the evils of war and Putin. Then finally the author really leaves all realms of truth and reality by suggesting Musk used this kind gesture as a way to ‘buy’ access to the White House in furtherance of his business interests. His businesses don’t need help. Musk and Trump weren’t even friends initially and the timeline is WAY off. Satellites were given years ahead of any cooperation Trump and Musk had. Their relationship was really solidified by the assignation attempt on Trumps life and the bravery he showed throughout. His work with Doge is not self serving. It’s for the greater good of America, putting the country back in solid financial footing and 80% of Americans support getting rid of all this ridiculous foreign spending and waste. That’s not what Americans tax paying dollars are for. Don’t always believe these liberal truth bending outlets. Their aversion of facts is only matched by their own selfishness.

Scott, author here. I'd be very open to your feedback on how this timeline is off. I pieced it together over several days with dozens of sources at the center of the news bias spectrum, but am always eager to learn.

I'd also be open to hearing evidence of what constitutes this outlet at "liberal" and "truth bending." I am an unaffiliated voter who crosses every ballot in search of qualified candidates, not party allegiance.

I think if you study him as much as I have, you’d realize his intentions are true and he’s very troubled to do the right thing. His podcasts with Joe Rogan are very insightful showing his unbelievable intelligence and drive. His successes are not because of luck. His autobiography tells of his humble beginning and him dealing with being bullied. I find him fascinating and real role model. At Doge, hes setting aside his businesses, and doing amazing work uncovering fraud on the American people. Have you seen their findings? The proof is in the pudding. Who can argue we should be buying condoms for Gaza or a Dei musical in Ireland. These things were being hidden from the American people and wouldn’t have been discovered with doge digging into this. Money that could be better spent helping people with real challenges, Americans or abroad.

If we are to find common ground, it must begin with facts over opinions.

I won't argue that we shouldn't address the federal deficit or that we shouldn't be wiser with taxpayer dollars. Those are definite concerns we all have. The danger lies in using misinformation to further a political agenda that harms not only citizens' trust in their government, but also breeds division among one another.

I agree that any conversation must be based in fact and not opinion, but this conversation started with your article making sweeping statements like:

“The wealthiest man in the world has purchased his own access to our protected information, occupied the government offices that serve everyday citizens, and coerced compliance to government actions that serve his private business interests.”

It’s a big jump to suggest someone making a donation to improve Ukrainians lives was done solely to get something out of it several years later for his businesses, which btw are doing incredibly well. Doge was also not something he could have even anticipated.

Your article says 90% of Americans support financial prudence and I’m one of them. USAID is rife with fraud and I look forward to seeing him continue to expose and shine a light on this government waste and continue to do the same in other departments.

Thank you, I agree- He has said, he can't be bought..won't be bought...that if evil men hate you, then you must be doing something right. I have not heard him say anything that would provide evidence as to any ILL intention with what he is doing...in fact quite the contrary. He wants less beaurocacy , is an innovator, and keeps repeating himself on his goal is to have an Efficient Govt. And he's right, so far. Wasteful spending, neglecting American citizens. Fire them. FEMA heads should be fires. All those who lived out their sick demented animal cruelty , fire them. All those who sent money to house illegal immigrants instead of sending it to victims of the hurricane in North Carolina, Fire them. I'm calling everyday. Every day 🙌

He admitted that the location reported was wrong. Instead of Gaza they went to Mozambique. Does that make a difference to you?? It doesn’t me and still is not something the US should be paying for.

Scott, what insight do you have to Musk's intentions? How can you honestly determine what his intentions really are? He has joined forces with Trump who has a tenuous relationship with the truth.
